Aron Delden was the eldest son of Jacob Delden and Leentje Ossedrijver. He was born in Amsterdam on 31 August 1899 and earned his living as pedler. On 21 April 1919 he married Marianne Waas in Amsterdam, who was born there on 3 January 1891 as a daughter of Lion Mozes Waas and Sara Hekster. Aron and Marianne had two daughters together: Lena on 27 April 1919 and Celina was born on 24 August 1921.

Lena Delden joined the Hollandia-Kattenburg textile factory in Amsterdam on 17 April 1937. On Wednesday, 11 November 1942, around 4:30 PM, Willy Lages conducted the Sicherheitspolizei raid on the Hollandia factories.
