The fate of the sisters Lena and Celina Delden.

Both the sisters Lena and Celina Delden were employed at the clothing factory of Hollandia Kattenburg in Amsterdam since half April 1937. Lena, the eldest, was just 17 years of age and her sister Celina was 15 years old. Aron Delden was the eldest son of Jacob Delden and Leentje Ossedrijver. He was born in Amsterdam on 31 August 1899 and earned his living as pedler. On 21 April 1919 he married Marianne Waas in Amsterdam, who was born there on 3 January 1891 as a daughter of Lion Mozes Waas and Sara Hekster. Aron and Marianne had two daughters together: Lena on 27 April 1919 and Celina was born on 24 August 1921.

About Celina Swaap-Delden

Celina Swaap-Delden joined the Hollandia-Kattenburg textile factory in Amsterdam on 12 April 1937. On Wednesday, 11 November 1942, around 4:30 PM, Willy Lages conducted the Sicherheitspolizei raid on the Hollandia factories.
