Hans Polak attended Delft Engineering School. He was married. He and his wife had a child and lived in The Hague.

Aangezien Hans Polak zijn studie aan de TH Deldt afmaakte, mocht hij zich ingenieur noemen. Toen zijn groep, waartoe ook zijn broer Sam behoorde, werd opgerold kon Hans Polak nog net op tijd onderduiken. Daarna heeft hij het verzetswerk voortgezet.

Hans komt voor op de erelijst van de CPN. Deze werd na de oorlog samengesteld voor een gedenkboek. Helaas is dat boek er nooit gekomen, maar de documen…
