Emanuel Ossendrijver was the eldest son of Abraham Ossendrijver and Henriëtte Citroen. He worked as a forwarder and married 20 July 1942 the domestic economist Theodora Helena (Dora) Korijn from Rotterdam, a daughter of Lodwijk Korijn and Debora Sara van den Berg.
