About Betje Swaab-Koopman

Betje Koopman was a daughter of Emanuel Koopman and Schoontje Levij. She married Zacharias Swaab on 14 January 1920 in Amsterdam, a son of Hijman Swaab and Veronica Cohen.
Betje was born in a family with nine children, of whom two children have died in childhood. Her other siblings, . Isaac, Salomon, Levie, Hijman, Joseph and Samson, have been killed all during the Holocaust.
