Salomon Vecht

Salomon Vecht was a son of Abraham Vecht and Saralina Kannegieter, a family with three children, among them Julia and Elias, who has died in childhood. Salomon married in Rotterdam on 3 June 1925 to Henriette Kalker. The couple had two children: Abraham Hartog and Hartog, who both have survived the Holocaust.

Salomon Vecht, die altijd Eduard werd genoemd, nam na het overlijden van zijn vader Abraham Vecht in 1923 de groothandel in vlees van zijn vader over. Hij was dus ook grossier in vleeswaren.
