Berhardine lived with her parents, Max Moses Goldstein ((22.12.1885) and Fanny Feige Goldstein née Schurberg (16.03.1884) in Duisburg, Germany until she moved to Kalkar in 1938. She emigrated to Holland in 1939 with her sister Edith, who was also deported. Information on Edith Goldstein

Edith is listed as a Shoah victim on the Federal German Memorial site (http://www.bundesarchiv.de/gedenkbuch/de1675021) but is not in the Dutch Nederlandse oorlogsslachtoffers Database (nor on this site, till now). I have requested that her personal card be made accessible at the Stadsarchief Amsterdam, but would appreciate more information if anyone has some!
