Meijer Cohen

Meijer Cohen was a son of Wolf Cohen and Keetje Cohen. He married 27 October 1937 in Amsterdam to Esther van Buuren, a daughter of Jacob van Buuren and Klaartje Vleeschdrager.
His brothers and sister were Betje, Izak and Jozeph. One sister has survived the Holocaust.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 51032) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 1999/3241).
