About Herman Leo van Perlstein

Herman Leo van Perlstein was a son of Baruch Gabriël van Perlstein and Sara Hecht.
He was a prominent member of the Amsterdam rowing club Poseidon. Besides his efforts to be a good rower-instructor he helped his pupils in their search for a job and gave them advice in chosing a study. After the war one of the boats of the club was named ‘Van Perlstein’.
