Zoetiene Kaatje Benninga was the daughter of Simon Benninga and Sophia Zadoks. Her father was sent to a labour camp near Sneek. On 3 October 1942 the men were transferred from the labour camp to Westerbork. Their family members were brought to Westerbork at the same time, as were Zoetine Kaatje and her mother.
