About Emanuel de Raaij

Emanuel de Raaij was a musician and performed with a few friends in a band called 'The Vocal Kings'. Before the war they performed in Amsterdam, Londen, Paris, southern-France and Boekarest.

Emanuel is een zoon van Salomon de Raaij en Elisabeth van der Bokke. Hij trouwde 3 februari 1936 met Judith Blocq (A'dam, 1 december 1913), dochter van Benjamin Blocq en Henriëtte Charlotte Brandon.
