Over Judith Levie-van der Tonge is niet veel bekend. Zij is in Amsterdam geboren op 27 januari 1873, was getrouwd met Izaak Levie en woonde aan de Bosstraat 7 in Assen. Op 28 september 1941 overleed Izaak de Levie, 74 jaar oud, in Assen. Waarschijnlijk is Judith Levie daarna verhuisd en bij de familie De Levie in de Oranjestraat 11 in huis gekomen.
