Erich Dasché was a son of Chajim Tobias Dasché and Hermine Spiegel.

During his deportation from Westerbork to Auschwitz, Erich Dasché was selected as 'Arbeitsfähig'. He therefore ended up in camp Shoppinitz.

Erich Dasché and his family

Erich Dasché and Edith Adler married on 24 March 1929 in Breclav, Chechoslowakia. The couple had three children.

After the 'Anschluss' of Austria, all Jews living in the Niederösterreich province were forced to move to Vienna. Erich Daché and his family moved to the Volkerstrasse 23 in Vienna. In June 1939 they fled to The Netherlands. They first stayed in The Hague with a sister of Edith Adler.…
