Celine Markx was a daughter of Oscar Markx and Jetta Gruneberg. She married David Leefsma in 1926 in Amsterdam. They had a child that survived the war. They divorced in 1929. Celine Markx remarried in 1932 in Düsseldorf. She divorced in 1935.
