Judik Waagenaar joined the Hollandia-Kattenburg textile factory in Amsterdam on 10 January 1936. On Wednesday, 11 November 1942, around 4:30 PM, Willy Lages conducted the Sicherheitspolizei raid on the Hollandia factories. Aäron Waagenaar and his family

Aäron Waagenaar was the widower of Sara Levenson, who died in 1917. Her brother Wolf Levenson was married to a sister of Aäron Waagenaar. One child that was still living at home survived the war, as did two grandchildren. Another child of Aäron Waagenaar’s had a mixed marriage and lived at a different address.
