About Roosje Maas-Eichenwald

The mayor of Groenlo requested that Roosje Maas-Eichenwald, a Jewess residing in Groenlo, be located, detained and brought to trial. She had left the town of Groenlo without the required authorization, and her whereabouts were unknown. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.

Maas and his family

Roosje Maas-Eichenwald had two children, who both survived the war. Together with one of her children she went into hiding in Nijmegen. They were bertayed and deported to Auschwitz. Immediately after arrival Roosje Maas-Eichenwald was gassed. The child survived the camp. The husband and the other child survived the war in hiding.
