Treinle Therese Rosenberg-Wechsler was the daughter of Samuel Wechsler, a teacher, and Bella Falk. On 20 June 1899, Therese married Meier Rosenberg from Leer. The couple had a shop in Reimerstrasse which sold second-hand goods. They had nine children. Treinle's husband Meier died in 1912. After that, she ran the shop on her own.
