David Isaac Brandel and his family

In addition, a Jokos file (number 40585) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 1417/1682).

Vader David en zoon Isaac Brandel werden samen met hun werkgever Isaac Flesseman op 4 september 1943 door een agent van Bureau Joodse Zaken gearresteerd.
