Rebekka van der Sluis was a daughter of Mozes van der Sluis and Schoontje Godfried. She married 17 June 1891 in Amsterdam to Isaac Engelsman, a son of Levie Engelsman and Hendrika Muis. However, Isaac passed away on 22 April 1921.
