Abraham Quiros was a supervisor at the Portuguese Jewish Synagogue in Amsterdam.

On Queen's Day 1943 (31 August) Abraham Quiros was arrested, together with someone else, on the courtyard of the Synagogue by two Dutch police officers and taken to the police office on the Waterlooplein.

De persoon met wie Bram Quiros werd gearresteerd was Jaap Lobatto. Die werd vrijgelaten omdat hij - op papier - vier Portugese grootouders had. Lobatto overleefde de oorlog en overleed in 2005. Zie de documentaire Fatsoenlijk land (http://www.npo.nl/2doc-fatsoenlijk-land/01-05-2015/VPWON_1240605)

We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.
