David Beth, son of Mozes Beth and Judith Montesios, (previously married to and divorced from Bloeme Vischschraper), married in Amsterdam on 10 October 1923 to Sara Wurms, a daughter of David Wurms and Vrouwtje Witzenhausen.

Abraham Beth is de zoon van Bloeme Vischschraper en David Beth, poeliersknecht en later werkzaam als poelier. Hij luistert naar de naam Bram, maar was niet de eerste Abraham in de familie. Zijn ouders hadden eerder ook een zoon gekregen die Abraham genoemd werd, maar dit jongetje overleed zes maanden na zijn geboorte.
