Esther is een dochter van Levie van der Bokke (A'dam, 12 juli 1859 - A'dam, 17 juni 1929) en Betje Presser. Ze trouwde 2 januari 1919 met Philip Jacobs (A'dam, 5 maart 1889 - A'dam, 19 sept 1942), zoon van Abraham Jacobs en Sophia Mok.
