Gesina Mok-Englander joined the Hollandia-Kattenburg textile factory in Amsterdam on 7 July 1941. On Wednesday, 11 November 1942, around 4:30 PM, Willy Lages conducted the Sicherheitspolizei raid on the Hollandia factories. Jacob Mok was a son of Salomon Mok and Mietje Katwijk.10 September 1941 he married Gesina Englander from Alkmaar in Amsterdam, a daughter of Gompert Englander and Femmetje Keesje. 7 September 1942 the couple had a son Salomon, who survived the Shoah.
