Frits Kaufmann

Frits (Fritz) Kaufmann, geb. 23.04.1889 te Rotterdam, is op 04.11.1942 met transport no. 40 vanuit het Franse doorgangskamp Drancy naar Auschwitz gedeporteerd.

Zijn beroep was confectiefabrikant.

Hij woonde in Amsterdam, Nederland.

Dit betekent dat Frits Kaufmann een vergeefse poging heeft ondernomen om naar veiliger oorden te ontkomen, daarbij is opgepakt en gevangen gezet.

During the war Frits Kaufmann and his family tried to flee to Switzerland through France. In France Frits Kaufmann was caught and deported to Auschwitz. His family managed to reach Switzerland and survived the war.
