Philip Duizend

Philip Duizend was the son of Herman Duizend and Hanna de Jong. He married Lea Asscher in 1912. She was the daughter of Jacob Asscher and Jochebet Tal. The couple had three children: Jacob and two children who survived the war.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 2827/10356).

Jaap Polak was het neefje van Flip en Lea Duizend. Hij noemt hun transport in een brief van 8 februari 1944, geschreven in Westerbork.
