Herbert Weis was een zoon van David Weis en Lea Goldschmidt. Op 5 augustus 1942 trouwde hij te Amsterdam met Geertruida Cohen, dochter van Henri Saron Cohen en Grete Blok.

Herbert Weis was my great uncle.
He was from Krefeld (now Krefeld-Mitte)
His parents were David Weis and Lea Goldschmidt
His brother (my grandfather) was Ricardo Weis, born in Crefeld  on January 28 1916 in Hochstraße 49. He escaped to Uruguay and afterward to Argentina.
