About Jacob Vischjager

Jacob Vischjager went into hiding during the war. After some time he returned to his family, because the family wanted to stay together. There are some pictures of Jacob Vischjager preserved from the time he was in hiding.

Vischjager and his family

The father of the Vischjager family was Fish dealer. The family lived in the Transvaalbuurt in Amsterdam. Among the seven children were two twins: Emanuel and Sophia, and Abram and Lena.
