Rosalie Marx-Rosenhelm

Rosalie (Rosa) Marx-Rosenhelm was the widow of Michel Marx. The couple had at least two sons: 541096 and 541095.

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos files reveal that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 8053/20016).

Koopman Benjamin Rosenhelm (tot 1846 droeg hij de achternaam Mozes) en zijn vrouw Nettchen Stern krijgen vier dochters met de namen Bertha, Lina, Rosa(lie) en Johanna. Drie van de dochters (Bertha, Lina en Rosalie) trouwen met gerespecteerde kooplieden. In de jaren dertig vluchten Bertha, Rosalie en Johanna naar Nederland.

Rosalie Rosenhelm trouwt met de koopman Michel Marx (1871-1934). Michel bouwde confectiewinkels op in Siegen, die bekend werden buiten de regio. Rosalie had zich op 3 september 1936 uitgeschreven om te vertrekken naar Amsterdam. Ze volgde haar twee zonen Artur en Berthold, die al een jaar eerder waren vertrokken. Haar zuster Johanna Rosenhelm voegt zich eind 1938 bij haar.
