Over de dood van feministe Rosa Manus deden maar liefst drie verschillende verhalen de ronde. Juist de minst waarschijnlijke sterfdatum en –plaats kwamen terecht op haar overlijdensakte. Uit nieuw onderzoek blijkt dat het tijd is voor een herziening.
De Rosa Manus lezing, die Atria in samenwerking met het Joods Historisch Museum organiseerde, is een eerbetoon aan een vrouw die van historische betekenis is geweest voor de ontwikkeling van de positie van vrouwen, zowel als politiek volwaardige burgers als in de geschiedwetenschap.
