Alise Essinger-Rosengarten was een dochter van Hermann Rosengarten en Selma Joske Wachenheimer. Ze had een zus, Inge, die de oorlog overleefde.
Alise en haar man Kurt Essinger werden gearresteerd in Brussel, tijdens een poging om illegaal naar Zwitserland te ontkomen.

Alice, her father Hermann Rosengarten, her grandmother Salomea Rosengarten lived at Schützenstr. 4 in Berlin-Steglitz before emigrating to Holland on 01.08.1933.
