Andries Wurms was a son of Salomon Wurms and Rebecca Ensel. Hij married 2 November 1921 in Amsterdam Geesje Roodenburg, a daughter of David Roodenburg and Hendrika Engelsman. The couple had four children, namely Hendrika in 1922, Rebecca in 1923, David in 1925 and Jansje in 1933.
