In a book from the Lagerbücherei Westerbork a note from Bernhard Cygielnik to his mother was found. On the note there is written:

Welgefeliciteerd mam en nog vele jaren. Ik stuur je een hele bende leeft..?/luft.?.ci in/en het cadeautje komt later, omdat ik dat niet kan meegeven. Over alles andere schrijf ik je later wel, dus heel veel lief..? van Bern..

Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 2362/2471).
