Julie Wittgenstein is the oldest sister of Rosa Cohen-Wittgenstein (1868-1949) who founded, together with her husband Joseph Cohen (1860-1924), the fashion shop 'de Bonneterie'.
From 3 August 1938 on Julie Wittgenstein lives at Koningslaan 12, her sister Rosa's home. On 7 November 1940 she moves to Oranje Nassaulaan 45 and on 19 January 1943 to Dintelstraat 31 II.
