Abel Schwarz was koopman in diamant. Hij is in 1891 vanuit Sint Petersburg naar Nederland gekomen. In 1925 heeft hij formeel het Nederlandse staatsburgerschap gekregen. Schwarz was in de eerste echt gehuwd met Anna Ollschwinker, evenals hij afkomstig uit Rusland (Tangarog).
