Jansje Waas was a daughter of Sander Waas and Eva Slap. She married 17 February 1937 in Amsterdam to Jesaja Veffer, a son of Gompel Veffer and Debora Blog. The couple had one daughter in 1937: Debora.
Her husband Jesaja has survived the war.
Jansje had eight siblings, of whom four have been killed during the Holocaust: she herself, 501408, 505283 and 496118.
