Rosette Porcelijn was the eldest of the seven children of Salomon Porcelijn and Rika Augurk. She was born on 1 June 1904 in Amsterdam and was a seamstress by profession. On 4 March 1925 she married there Isaac Loonstijn, who was born in Amsterfdam on 6 August 1901 as a son of Joseph Loonstijn and Eva Vos. The fate of Joseph Loonstijn.

Joseph Loonstijn was the eldest of the two sons of Isaac Loonstijn and Rosette Porcelijn. His father was a vendor of vegetables, fruit and fish and after the summer of 1942 he received a special exemption from the Jewish Council, a so-called “Joodsch Lokaal Sperre” – a Jewish Commerce Exemption: his trade was designated as a so called “Joodsch Lokaal”, a Jewish facility where only Jews were allowe…
