Photo at the beach of probably Scheveningen from the years 1925-1930 with sitting in the roofed wicker beach chair Sara Winnink-van Wezel, sitting in the deck chair is Meijer Winnink, sitting at the sand left front is Rebecca (Bep) Spanjer-Winnink and beside her, her husband Gustav Spanjer. Standing in the back the son of Meijer and Sara, who survived the Holocaust.

About Meijer Winnink

Meijer Winnink was a son of Isaac Winnink and Rebecca van Duijm. He married in Amsterdam on 26 March 1903 to Sara van Wezel. The couple had two children, a son and daughter Rebecca, who did not survive the Holocaust.

One child of Meijer Winnink and Sara van Wezel survived the war. This child no longer lived at the parental house in February 1941.

Aankomst in en vertrek uit Westerbork

Volgens de kaart van de Joodse Raad kwam Meijer op 6 maart 1943 aan in Westerbork, alwaar hij in barak 62 werd ondergebracht. Op 10 maart 1943 werd hij vandaar op transport gesteld.
