Biography

The fate of Lodewijk Boeki, his wife Sarah Nort & their five children.

Lodewijk Boeki was a son of Azor Boeki and Johanna Bronkhorst. 26 May 1921 he married in Anderlecht (B) Sarah Nort, born in Anderlecht in 1902, a daughter of Salomon Nort (born in ‘s-Hertogenbosch - NL) and Regina Baruch from Rheinbach (Germany). In Anderlecht three of their five children were born: Arthur, Regina and Jacques.

In addition, a Jokos file (number 52240) on this family is at the Amsterdam Municipal Archive. Access is subject to authorization from the Stichting Joods Maatschappelijk Werk.The Jokos file reveals that a claim was lodged for compensation for valuables surrendered to the Lippmann-Rosenthal looting bank (L-claim, number 1235/5259).
