Uit het dagboek van Alfred Vyth:

Lore….omdat ze minderjarig was, was mijn vader te bang om haar onder te laten duiken. Zij ging alleen als 16 jarig meisje ’s nachts naar het station om zich bij die andere arme joden te voegen. Dit was op 15 juli 1942, voor ons ook het sein om onder te duiken. Met mijn ouders en Ellen heb ik nog tot 15 maart 1943 contact gehad, maar van Lore hebben zij nooit meer i…
