To the right of the middle are two German SS men, the one on the right an SS-Unterscharführer. In the background, two policemen from the Amsterdam Police Battalion (P.B.A.) are watching. On the far right is a man with a white band around his left arm with a number and the letters JR. He is from the Jewish Council of the Expositur department. German soldiers, Dutch police officers and employees of the Jewish Council (with armbands) arrange the transport. At the train is one of the two nurses who came along from the Hollandsche Schouwburg to help the sick. With her are others from the Jewish Council. Next to the train, which leaves at 20:05 hrs, are employees of the Dutch Railways.
