Dorothea Pappenheim-Klein

Dorothea is geboren in Bad Sobernheim.
Haar vader was Sigmund (Siegesmund) Klein die getrouwd was met Jeannette Meyer had een kledingwinkel aan de Marktplatz. Ze is in 1900 getrouwd met Albert Pappenheim.
Dorothea was een lieve en erg bescheiden vrouw. Zo bescheiden, dat ze in de oorlog geen hulp wilde accepteren.

Sinds 2010 staan in Sobibor een boom en een gedenksteen ter nagedachtenis.

Albert Pappenheim was a bank manager in Trier. In 1940 he came to the Netherlands together with his wife Dorothea Klein. The couple had two children who both survived the war.
