Alvares Vega and his family

At least five children from this family have been in the Orphanage Leiden, a short or long time . What date they moved to Leiden, we could not figure out. Presumably they were deported from there and killed in Sobibor on the same day as all the other children.

Sara was getrouwd met Joseph Alvares Vega. In het politiearchief bevindt zich deze mededeling over ongeregeldheden met distributiebescheiden. Joseph overleefde Kamp Sobibor en emigreerde in 1949 naar Israel. Na enkele jaren keerde hij terug naar Nederland.
