We have been unable to determine whether one or more members of this family survived the war. While their names do not appear on the lists of survivors, we have not been able to trace them in In Memoriam either. They are therefore labeled as 'surviving' and their names are not listed.

Jacob Polak wordt in 1871 geboren, als zoon uit het huwelijk van koopman Berend Polak en Esther Goedhart. Naast Jacob telt dit gezin vier kinderen. Hun eerste zoontje overlijdt na negen dagen, hierna worden Mozes (1863) en David (1866) geboren. In 1869 wordt een levenloos zoontje geboren. De moeder is in een winkel werkzaam geweest.
