Sara Bachrach and her husband went into hiding somewhere in the vicinity of Doetinchem. After the couple was betrayed, they were brought to Westerbork and as they had went into hiding they were assigned to a barack in the punishment block. Shortly after their arrival in Westerbork, they were deported to Auschwitz.
