About Hartog Polak

Hartog Polak was a son of Levie Polak and Elisabeth Kuijper. He married Hanna Cutzien from Zwolle on 24 April 1940 in Groningen, a daughter of Benjamin Aron Cutzien and Judik kan. The couple had no children and resided in Arnhem. Hartog's father Levie Polak passed away on 2 October 1937 in Groningen and his mother Elisabeth Kuijper deceased also in Groningen on 29 January 1943. Hartog and Hanna we…

The Police Commissioner of Arnhem requested that Hartog Polak, merchant, a resident of Arnhem, be located, detained and brought to trial. He was suspected of having changed his place of residence without the required authorization. This description referred to Jews who had gone into hiding.
