Salomo Louis de Jong

Salomo Louis (Sol) de Jong was born in Arnhem, in the third generation there. He had two brothers who died before the war and a sister who died in Auschwitz. Salomo ran a department of the tailor concern M.S. de Jong in The Hague. Salomo de Jong had three children, among whom a son Jan.

Hij was eerder getrouwd met Lotte Rosalie Benjamin [Hannover 1886- Arnhem 1917].

Uit zijn eerste huwelijk met Lotte Rosalie Benjamin had Salomo in ieder geval een dochter, de latere schrijfster Dorothea Rosalie 'Dola' de Jong (1911-2003).
