Arthur Serphos

Arthur Serphos was the son of Mozes Serphos and Bertha Rosendahl. Mozes had a garment factory in Enschede. Arthur worked in the same sector.

De huidige familie Serphos c.q. Serfhos te Enschede ontstond aan het begin van de 19^e eeuw met de broers Salomon Urias en Nathan Urias (later Serphos genoemd) afkomstig uit het Duitse “Flecken” Anrath/Anroot (nu Willich) gelegen nabij de grens van Duitsland met Frankrijk.
