The fate of the Mozes Samuel family from Enschede.

Mozes Samuel, a cattle trader from Voorst and son of Mozes Samuel and Leentje Noach, married 10 September 1919 in Oldenzaal Stella Lievendag, a daughter of Jacob Lievendag and Bertha Elkus. The couple had four children, namely Bertha Lena, Louise, Mozes Jacob and Jacob Mozes. All have been killed in the Shoah.

About Mozes Jacob Samuel

According to a postwar statement Mozes Jacob Samuel tried to get away to Switzerland, together with his brother Jacob Mozes, to eventually join the allied troops in England. They were caught in France. On 28 June 1942 the two brothers were deported from the French camp Beaune de la Rolande to Auschwitz.
