Marianna (Nannie) Stork

Als jong meisje zat Marianna 'Nannie' Stork op atletiek, bij de Goudse Vereniging Vires et Celeritas. Dat blijkt uit een krantenbericht uit de Goudsche Courant. In 1936 werd zij derde bij een atletiekwedstrijd. Tot de zomer van 1941 zat Nannie op de hbs in Gouda. In september 1941 moest zij van school omdat zij Joods was. Daarna ging zij dagelijks met de trein naar het Joods Lyceum in Rotterdam. Zij kwam daar in de vierde klas. Esther van Vriesland, een leerling van de derde klas van het Joods Lyceum Rotterdam, schreef in haar dagboek dat Nannie een stukje kandijsuiker voor haar meenam.
