Louis Groen was de broer van Sara Koekoek-Groen (12-8-1876).

Zij was  gehuwd met Leon Koekoek ( 3-3-1875 / 3-11-1926)

Sara en haar dochter Elisabeth Koekoek ( 10-9-1901) vertrokken in 1925 naar Gent België alwaar Elisabeth trouwde met Eduard Vranckx en kreeg een zoon Leon Paul Vranckx.
